Badass Empath

Hello Spirital Ones,

It's only in the last few years that I've discovered that I am an empath and highly sensitive person. Questions always consumed me of why I was so different and so overly sensitive. Why did other peoples emotions, energies and the world around me affect me so deeply that it had the potential to spiral me into depression and anxiety? It all started by taking an online quiz and I went from there, drinking up any information or insight I could find. This trait I now think also contributed to my eating disorder that started in my very early teens and continues to be that voice in my ear on a daily basis.

So what is an empath? In a nutshell, being an empath is when you are affected by other people’s energies, and have an innate ability to intuitively feel and perceive others.  Your life is unconsciously influenced by others’ desires, wishes, thoughts, and moods.

Being an empath and highly sensitive being I find crystals essential for my survival. I wear them as a shield like a superhero to block out all the negative energies of the world. (think Wonder Women and her cuffs)  Like I said I'm a spiritual badass gangster!

Five Crystals that every empath should have up their sleeve....

Lepidolite is a beautiful antidote to the stress, anxiety, fear, and lower emotions from others that can invade our space and overwhelm us.

Lapis Lazuli is a great choice for helping us speak up and set clear intentions and boundaries when necessary.

Black Tourmaline can provide protection from others who may be emotionally draining. It can alter negative energy into positive so the harmful energy isn't absorbed.

Rose Quartz gives us a feeling of unconditional love and is an excellent choice for emotional healing.  It also soothes and heals the heart chakra.

Amethyst helps to heighten and sharpen an empaths intuition. That is how we decipher what feelings are our own and what feelings come from outside sources.

Now go arm yourself and take on the world!!!
